Tires are on, if anybody wants some pretty used 265/70 big stocks or knows a good use for them, they are in my backyard. Also I am on the search for 1 TRD OR wheel.

The wheel bearing was shot again on the passengers side. Must have been defective from the supplier. Whole wheel was shaking and when I put it up to rotate tires I touched the top of the wheel and the whole thing just wobbled in and out. Scary!

Not sure if the shaking wheel caused the bushings on the rack to finally give, or if the rack itself is bad internally. I was trying to hold the wheel straight as the truck vibrated all over the road.

I guess you can look under the hood at the steering rack or look from under while someone else turns the wheel (engine on) and see if the rack slides to the right or left as the wheel turns the opposite way. I replaced my stabilizer bar bushings first because I thought these were my creaking culprit, turns out they weren't ,but cheap fix.

 

Welp finally done and home. All four lines are in and the front brakes have been completely replaced. Bed them in pretty hard since they are performance pads and the stopping is impressive. Didn't get around to doing the bearing yet - I'll do that when I need to do fluids for the rest of the truck. I'll need to remove the front and mid skid anyways to do the flush at the dealership.

 

Absolutely. $950 for the set. I'll even throw in the center caps and an incomplete (I think) set of lug nuts.

 

If any of you guys are even a little into racing, tonight world supersport race was absolutely brilliant. One of my favorite classes because it's always a 6 way battle for the podium. I think I'm sweating from watching it

 

Is that a bike race? Into F1 and other types EXCEPT NASCAR, but never got into bike racing...

 

Yeah it's the world class for 600's. It's usually really tight racing which is why I like it, but man this was ridiculous. Podium change every turn, crashes, restart, photo finish. All in fifteen laps

 

I have to try and watch a bike race then to see how I like it.

 

World supersport is really great tight racing. Motogp is the f1 equivalent for motorcycles, and also the class that my sexless lover Valentino Rossi races in. If I end up locked up in April at the races, it's because I tried to sexually assault him at the autograph session

 

Anybody know where I can get a cheap one of these?

probably not what you were wanting to do, but comes with tires too so you could sell off what you don't need and recoup some
