Too bad you can't get 200000+ miles out of a sled lol. Lucky to get 2000 from a 2 stroke

Thought I'd post my example of when things go wrong in the snow. Overcooked it on a Superior Nat'l Forest fire road. That ditch is deeper than it looks. I was snuggled up against a couple small Birch. Ooops.

Gosh no kidding! Could switch to a cat turbo 4 stroke but i just cant quite get on board with the idea of one, mostly just the weight and the unbalance front to rear those motors create. Lot less mantinance and longevity plus reduced operating cost though....theres just nothing like good ole 2 stroke braaaap braaap though lol. Plus that 800 zuke motor cat uses is just so awesome! However after years of them using a Suzuki power plant they just recently released their brand new early release '18 with the new american made direct inject cat 800 in a sweet new machine with a good bit of very useful changes even from last years new "mountain cat" which was a major improvement from even the '16! I've always got well over 2 and 3k miles on my cats without loosing a motor, my dad and grandpa with their skidoo's though, thats another story! Bout 3 to 3.5k miles and you better do a rebuild because they are gunna leave your ass stranded soon with major engine detonation so to speak lol. Skidoo always makes good power though, cant knock em on that. Them 2 guys run polaris now, which are good machines, especially the new axys chassis. On the first couple years of the new polaris pro those motors were only good fur about 3k or a lil more though too, but with a recent motor change fur them they seem to have much better longevity now. Freakin awesome sport though, cant get enough of it, it totally consumes my life in the winter! And shit has this year been awesome so far, snow wise i mean! This last week has seriously been the most epic riding i think ive ever had with ultra deep pow and everyday its been epic getting deeper everyday! Today it finally stopped snowing and is a bluebird day, bout to head out here soon to keep taking advantage of the snow conditions before it finally sets up. Here are some pics of the last few days, im not stuck er anything its just that deep its what it looks like just simply stopping!!20170228_154625.jpg 20170227_153734.jpg
You know its epic pow when you manage to create this complete and total destruction of your $180 belt! Lol!! Clutches would literally sizzle and instantly turn snow into steam when ya tossed a handful on em, hot!!! Even that high dollar, high heat Kevlar belt cant handle prolonged heat and abuse of 4 foot pow like that though, fun times i tell ya!!20170222_155238.jpg
