Read a magazine or book in dim light for maybe a 1/2 hr , that'll get your eyes tired and get you sleepy

I'm trying to find a set of mirror extenders for my work truck. Ram doesn't have very big mirrors to start with, but I can just barely see our 16' car trailer fender on the passenger side. I have my generator mounted just inboard a couple inches of the side. And that is very much how I'll have the toolboxes mounted on the driver's side (when the box gets here). I'm even open to adding another set of mirrors if I have to. Just can't find what (I think) I'm looking for.

My carpool partner and I were talking about this last night; with the return of "normal" Winter here, wondering will there be the big March/April dumps we used to see every year ... guess we'll see. You've really had a hard Winter, in comparison I have no space to complain about anything. Stay strong my friend, you're almost to the other side. ;)

That's a solild policy...lithium batteries are wonderful, until something goes wrong. We have restrictions on how we can ship them for that very reason. Have to keep safeguards in place.
I've done this before, we used 8 guys, and it still wasn't easy. Four seems almost dangerous.

That 4cyl is a solid capable engine.

    exactly

I literally called 4Lo "tractor mode" in my Tacoma. :)

Poor man's locker -- it works like a charm. ;)

It'll take a bit to get back on day walker sleep cycle. :sorry: Tim. :fingerscrossed: it comes sooner than later. I always found the harder I fought it, the harder it was ... find something to watch or read, almost like you need to distract yourself. :notsure:

My old 68 M38A1 jeep which was one of my last rock crawlers had a 123.1:1 low range . it was low enough that I had to accelerate going down steep hills or it would not move LOL!!

I also was able to walk up very steep hills with very little to none throttle input . it made 4 wheeling so much more fun

Between the transmission , t/case low&high and overdrive I had 12 forward and 4 reverse gears . I used to play around and was able to shift all four reverse gears . going forward I could split all 12 forward gears

4AM ... I'm still working mid shifts; I nap on and off at night on my days off, about the same as I do during the day when I'm working the nights. I don't sleep much more than 4 or 5 hrs at a time. But that's not really new, I've done similar sleep pattern since my first job while still in High School.

How are you and your family these days?

Wow that must get to you.

Were good thanks. One of my teenagers is a real pain in the ass but I guess that's considered normal... you know. Everybody else is doing great. Thanks for asking. Yours?

    :hattip: Chuck

    ... Have you slept yet?

    :hattip: How's the shoulder lately.

Not really, it's my normal ... I still firmly believe I'm less stressed than I would be working a day shift job ... especially where I work. I've never been good at biting my tongue, I'm less tolerant of BS as I get older ... and the BS is getting deeper these days.

Teenagers go thru those phases ... you'll survive. We are all good, looking forward to the youngest son and his fiancee's wedding in May. I drew a good hunt tag for next season, and fishing season is getting closer. If I'm complaining, it's just to keep up appearances. ;)

Oh, and 10 days from now marks 1 year of not smoking ... I have no fear of ever falling back in that trap. Time will tell if it I stopped early enough. :fingerscrossed:
