I was just teasing. Most EMS around here don't offer retirement packages.

 

Well crap, ima have to stay off of here, this site is costing me to much money........

Ill take two, i want one, and ill donate the other to an active or retired member that wants one.

 

I want my extra one to go to a military, police, firefighter, emt person, they deserve all the respect they can get.

Ha, unless your FDNY EMS not even around here. Amazes me. You guys run your asses off and barely get paid.

 

Didn't think they had retirement either... I know a few people that work up there. Could be wrong though.

Best example of that, I use to work 3 different squads and typically was only home for either 1 to 2 hours a week, or if I got lucky, 12 hours once a week. Now I work 1 job, and make the same amount of money in a 2 week time frame as I did if I got all the shifts I could get between all 3 squads. At one squad, I worked for, for 6 years. In those 6 years I got one 25 cent raise to bump me to $8.25 an hour with out any benefits.

 

I thought they were the last ones, but i could be wrong. either way, it's sad.
