Head gasket out at 489,000 miles, repair or replace engine??

What impresses me is how fond he is of his little standard cab truck. I drove a little Nissan Hardbody standard cab for about 2 years while I saved up $$ for my 07 Taco. I enjoyed driving it but could not wait to get a roomier cab.

 

I have a 2007 Tahoe for when I want extra room, How many REG cabs do you see with a v6 supercharged?? Have you seen any? So it's a little unique. Runs circles around all those 2gen and 3rd gen pro Tacoma's, It's my fun vehicle that's all and was my first new vehicle Off the show room floor I bought And out lasted my marriage, haha

 

You can't run circles around me in the desert . My fun truck runs double duty - offroading and taking the fam to the park.

My brother has 2008 Tacoma with 77,000 miles he is going to sell if you have interest for 13k, longbed lift kit 4x4
has imbolizer issues that he spent 4000.00 trying to fix and Toyota can't find the problem. truck will shuts down whenever it wants to and doesn't start,

 

I'm fine. Bought my 07 DCLB 4X4 Taco new. Runs great but need to replace bushings and a wheel bearing.

 

New goodies coming in a week in the mail with photos to follow
1, bad max new air horn coming, no more beep beep
2, Corbeau LG1 bucket seats coming
3, URD supercharger tension pulley coming
4, TRD radiator cap coming

 

Just ordered some Corbeau LG1 seats in the mail on thier way,
Step one, remove old seats,
Step two, be patient and wait for the ups man,
Out with old, in with the new
Seats came and fit like a glove, didn't realize how bad those 4 runner seat I had were.

 

Got them, New seat belts and a set of Corbeau LG1 seats

 

I am so jealous it hurts

 

So I’ve added almost 85,000 miles since the motor swap and this posting and still running perfectly, now at 563,000 with zero issues!!!
