Just finished the lift for those doing the lift themselves if you have a kit that is anything over +2.75 in the front i strongly recomend getting new upper control arms because it was a pain getting them back up and seated

Why would i want steelies? They pit easier and weigh more than alloy? My plan was to get rid of them and run some alloys unless someone can tell me a good reason not to? Thanks she is shaping up to be my favorite vehicle I've owned so far

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Only a bit over 19k on mine. Yours is almost worn out. :D

No lift you can run 235x75, no rubs. I know you are already committed, just for reference. I mounted mine on a collection of spare tire wheels that I painted up. Fit perfect of course, but they have a bit more lip than the wheels you currently have on the ground.

Visually the side bars will make the truck look lower, negating part of the look from your lift. Just to consider.

Also to consider, if you black out the pinch weld below the body line (about 1" wide) it will visually make the truck look higher.

I suspect you 'may' need new UCAs anyway, because your alignment guys may not be able to reign everything in with that much lift. I mean just in case they tell you they can't get it in spec.
