Depends, let's see your bank statement. Seriously though I would look at lift packages from Headstrong Off-road for some ideas on how much it's gonna set you back. Go to the 3rd gen page and find a thread on lifts for some height comparison. GL

i don't want to necessarily lift it. I'm just looking at my options for a better ride and handling while off-roading

Don't know of many options for aftermarket which don't involve a lift. Because that's sort of the point I guess.

Front hellwig sway bar,All pro sway bar end links, Fox 2.5 Resi Coilovers and Shocks, Fox 2.5 Hydraulic Bumpstops, Budbuilt Traction bar, Total Chaos UCAs w/ heim joints, Icon AAL, AFE Power Intake with dynamic scoop, URD spec U, URD short shifter, Flossy weighted shift knob, michelin tires, black badges, black tailgate letters, black grill with custom Diaz Fab Devil horn yota logo, retrofit/morimoto HID conversion, red interior LED lights, Pioneer head unit, kenwood excelon door speakers, 2 10" pioneer subs,
If you want better ride and capability id recommend UCAs and some coilovers up front and some beefier shocks in the rear. Total chaos makes great UCAs that give you more caster than stock for better handling.. all depends on how much you're willing to spend as people have said. If you can afford it than the ultimate in handling would BE long travel suspension but you're talking 2500 for UCAs and LCAs and supporting mods, plus the cost of LT coilovers up front and then another 1500 for LT rear suspension plus the cost of whatever rear shock you want. Sounds like a lot of research would be beneficial here, start at Headstrong offroad, Total Chaos, and look into different suspension offerings from Fox, King, Icon, and Bilstein. Fox and Bilstein have options to fit just about any budget where Kings and Icons are going to start expensive and get more expensive from there.

What do you NOT like about how it rides now? That should be the first question. What kind of off roading? The best thing you can do take it out and see what it can do stock before doing anything.

.... All coilovers can be set with no lift. Even the Bilstein 5100s which is the most popular option on the website.

Start with ID'ing what's wrong with what you have now.

Determine how you will actually use the vehicle 80-85% of the time.

Call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and tell her your goals/usage, and she'll recommend the right package.

If it costs more than you want to spend, you have 3 choices.............

    1) do nothing
    2) save up your money and buy what she recommends
    3) buy an inferior product and wish you'd bought what she recommended

Personally, I'd drive it stock, and as you figure out what needs to be improved for your use of the vehicle, then consider the changes. It's pretty darn capable in the hands of a good driver right off the showroom floor. And a simple tire change can dramatically improve that capability, without being jumbo, on big wheels or jacked up suspension.
