BFG AT TKO2s 34 x 10.5 x17, Leer 550 Tonneau cover, weather tech digi fit liners, Viper 5901 remote start/security, 2" fr spacer, 3" TC AAL, All Pro IFS skid plate, Trans skid plate & Transfer Case skid plate, 12" roof mounted flip down dvd player, In channel vent visors.
This new size released by BFG equates to a 265/80/17 and is a great option for those of us wanting to run stock sport 17" rims.
There are only a couple of people running these tires right now and am hoping you can dump some pictures and/or experiences here for those of us considering sizing up.

    Cheers,
    Ryan

That's a big, heavy tire with alot of rotational mass. Budget to re-gear unless you just don't care about having any power.

It is a heavy tire, but slightly lighter than the 275/70/17s Im running right now. Granted the extra 1" in height will only cripple the gearing even more compared to the stock 265/65/17s that come with the truck. I dont normally highway this truck so I regearing isnt critical for me. Thats what my wife's CR-V is for.

I'm running the 34s too. Sorry, not the best pic of them with the snow. You can run stock gears with them but you do feel the difference. Not heavy at all thou since they are load range D not E. They weigh 52lb each compared to the same tire in 265/75r16 load range E which is 52lb. I'm getting 15 combined 18 highway

What are your measured tire heights with those? I hear they run a lot shorter than advertised.

Listed tire heights are mounted on a rim not installed under load on the truck

I just measured my 265/75/16 KO2s and came in at 30.7" with about 10k miles on them and are a bit low on pressure as they sit. It's hard to image the 34x10.5x17 only measure out at 32"

I get 32 1/4" at 35psi on a 7" rim with the weight of the vehicle on them.

By jacking up the truck and measuring the circumference with rope I got 104” which equals 33.12" diameter. The tire has a few hundred miles on it, mounted on a 8 1/2" wide wheel, and inflated to 35psi.

IMG_1952.jpg 34x10.5 checking in. If I remember correctly, mine measured 32.5". I can double check a little later.

I have heard that with a smaller width wheel, the height tends to increase slightly. I'm running SCS wheels w/ 8.5" width on my setup

They measure right at 33" mounted on my truck at 32 PSI. The measure close to 34 not mounted on truck. I wanted a 33" tire and that is why I got these.

I had 2 sets of the 34x10.5 on my last 2 door jeep. They are not even close to a true 34. They are about the same as 285/70/17 but obviously not as wide ... measured out to 32.25 at 35psi

nice tire... I would think they would be a good choice on stock rims.

The only true 34x10.5 that I know of is the Interco LTBs ... but you wouldn't want to run those on the street.
