Another transport job to the opposite end of the state. Here's to 12 of the next 24 hours in the car. Time to see how the Mini does on the highway.

 

What's going on everyone, I'll be out there in a few weeks to check out the area as the woman and I might be moving to Durham. Question I have is how are the trails, hunting, and camping? Never been to NC before so excuse my ignorance.

 

Depends on what you like to do as far as trails are concerned. There are a few solid off road parks and a few mild forest service trails in the area.

There is great hunting here as well.

 

Well trails I've hit are all in AZ WY and CO never had real muddy situations or woods like you have, I love my mountain wheeling though. My main hunts are elk, deer, pheasant and dove. Might have to change some of those though...

Around Raleigh/Durham there really isn't any legal wheeling (power lines, and other areas are mostly private property). Uwharrie is the closest ORV park. I have a group that wheels parks in TN, VA, AL, SC, and wherever else we can find. Keep in touch and come out a wheel. We actually just got back from Gulches offroad Park. Pics soon.
