What are "late day shift" hours? Sounds like what we call "swing shift;" between day shift and mid shift (2 to 10PM). I never liked that shift.

Hope all mends well Rich. :fingerscrossed:

Anyone else find it difficult to fit their leg under the steering wheel when climbing in the truck? I'm not even that big of a guy.

It's all good. I still feel pretty strongly towards it. There's more to the story but I won't bore you, needless to say I was a little miffed after our last strike.

Yeah we've got the continuous blowdown open about 4 times more than usual, and are blowing down the mud drum twice a shift for twice the standard time each. No idea! Oh well, I don't get paid to figure that out, I just get paid to tell them shits fucked up and someone needs to fix it

I can't do it lol. I have to come home and go to sleep, I've tried powering through a few times but I always crash in the afternoon and then sleep to long and end up not going to bed until 2 AM. I find if I come and crash and then wake up at like 10ish, its just enough sleep that I'm ready for sleep again by 9ish

Same way at my place. At least with day shit. I show up at quarter till. 2nd shift is out the door by 5 till almost every night.

That's probably a healthier way of doing it honestly.
I "power through it" too much. Been up since 10am, and because of a needless meeting I'll be up until 10am today.
Usually on my "friday" I tend to pull a 28-31 hour day. It's fun times.

Good news tho! They finally hired on the new guy to take my shift! Better yet he's going to start Monday! Hell yea! So 3 weeks from now I should be on dayshift glory.
....well as long gone aso I don't for some ridiculously stupid reason get fired. Never know what's going to happen at this damn job the last few months.

Talk about dead thread! I thought tw unwatched it on me! More like there were no updates and it was thrown to the bottom of my list!

    How's everyone doing?
Got excited that I had just a month left until I could move to days with the new guy starting.
Come to find out he lied a tad, and was investigated at his old job. Sounds like I'll be stuck on thirds for long a while unless they let him stay.
