What have you guys found to work best in our trucks? Wanna get one for long trips. Let me know what you think and throw up a link if you can.

There's this thread over on the 2nd gen forum where people mounted a RAM mount to the grab handle on the A Pillar using an M6 bolt. Super clean and saves space. Our trucks use the same bolt pattern so it should work the same. I ordered the all the mounts, should be getting them soon.

Yeah that does look like a good option. I'll have to look into that, thanks.

I was gifted this one. But I have a rubberized backing on my phone so it wasn't gonna work. But looking forward to when I upgrade. And hopefully it doesn't have a rubberized backing too tho. Lol.

This is the one I got, you put a thin metal disc on your case and it works amazingly well.

This one gives you a lot of options also. They have a lot of cradles etc depending on what kind of phone you are mounting.

This is the best solution and what i'm running. I have my mount hooked up to a wireless charging dock. Get in the truck and throw my phone in it. Don't have to look for a cable or fiddle with getting it in the dock.

i have one just like this, but clips to the air vents, and it holds a 6s with ease. I was surprised

I've been using a vent clip that doesn't quite fit our vents... which means I've broken the 3 vents accessible from the driver's seat :annoyed:

The ease of use is amazing. The only downside is wireless charging is slow. It's really best next to my bed where i throw it on the charger and it has all night to charge up.

In the truck, with bluetooth and GPS on it basically prevents the phone from losing any charge. Even with heavy use though, i get a full day without needed a charge with my phone.

This is very timely. I have my phone mounted in a cd mount, but I've just purchased a new radio that doesn't have a cd player.
