    Original Post:
I've now been out of the car scene since 2014 (bought my tacoma) and had been getting a random itch every once in a while to explore Craigslist when I stumbled upon this 1993 Integra LS DA9.

The car is in pretty rough shape mechanically but the body is solid. Anyone who has owned an Integra knows how prone they are to quarter panel rust, this car has none! Interior is spotty as it is missing the carpet, bottom of the rear seat, radio. A/C isn't hooked up, nor is power steering. Needed a battery/starter.

Plans for the car are to k-swap and just have a decent fun car to drive around and participate in track days.

A little background: my first car was an EJ1 '94 Honda Civic which I sold after two years of ownership after I had bought a '94 Acura Integra GSR (DC2). The GSR was then stolen and stripped just a month/two after ownership but I didn't let that stop me. I picked up a '98 that was totaled and swapped every single item/bolt to the '94. Which I sold after a couple years of ownership to move onto rwd '91 240sx. Eventually turbo-d the 240sx KA24de motor to ~300hp/300tq and then blew up the motor twice. I moved on then into a 2004 350z in Lemans Sunset Orange with track package (aka brembos)

Nice. I was debating about another gen 3 but the gen 2 was calling for my name.

the issues with mine, that I remember, were leaking trunk/windshield and the motor mounts.

I know the sunroof drains need redone for the same reason on this one.

Bought a cheapy battery from O'Reillys tonight to replace the bad one. Car started the first time but the starter is still going out unfortunately. Probably pick one up tomorrow to replace just to make sure I'm good for the drive back to KS from KY this friday.

Starter replaced with another O'crappy special. Pretty sure it has something wrong with the solenoid as it's giving the scratch sound like it isn't being pulled out of the way. Tomorrow I'll remove and reinstall just to be sure though. Got tired of standing in the rain without light replacing it.

She got through the maiden voyage. 8hr drive and 530 miles with 1 3/4 tanks. Averaged about 24mpg with the engine running crappy like it does.

Not sure how I didn't bottom the damn thing out on some bridge/road merges.

I did get pulled over once for no tags, knew it was going to happen as soon as I passed the cops on the side of the road. No ticket though, and now it's tagged in ks. So let the fun begin!

    Mmmm

So I will need front tires and an alignment so why not order a set of wheels and tires. Just need to decide if I should order a full spare or not.. opinions??
