Fiberglass Fenders/Bedsides

Just a FYI, RoadRunnerFiberglass is the one that made the set on the 2016 Tacoma that raced in Baja. And the same one that wasn't happy with McNeil and pulled his truck from the shop mid production. They now have them available it seems starting at only $250 a set for front fenders. These are only 4.5 instead of ridiculous 6".

He pulled the truck from our shop before we finished our molds (plugs were done). I can't really say where it went or what happened, but it ended up in a fab shop to be built into the race truck with a crazy small time frame, they had the connection to Roadrunner. The story is A LOT more complicated than him being unhappy, communications were difficult to say the least.

What's the general process for removing our bedsides? I know they're bolt on, but is removal of the bed entirely required?

 

Im interested in 2inch flares. Im in SD and can possibly donate. Truck has both bumpers from Pelfrybilt and TC +2" LT. Let me know.

We still need a 16 to build them on. We've had a few guys interested, but the down time is really tough.

So has anyone else installed bedsides on their 2016?

I flared out my stock ones but there are a couple of little things that bother me with them.

 

How does it look flared? Any pictures?

 

First pic is before. Rest are after. It doesn't look as cool as bedsides. But it was free and will hold my rtt.

 

Truck looks awesome! I got the +2" LT kit and need to figure out how to cover my tires due to state laws in Hawaii and also to maximize the wheel articulation. Can you pm me how you flared the rear and what you did for the front before you went with fiberglass fenders. Thanks!

 

I was using google for some fiberglass stuff and came across this.

Anyone driving from southern ca to San Jose and wants to save me 300 bucks.

 

Bump. Not many options for 3rd gen still. I only see McNeil and Roadrunner as of now. Still would like something for a +2 LT. Baja Kits group buy is on and looking for more fiberglass options.

 

I have the roadrunners. They'd work fine with a +2 kit.

My mcneils are currently being painted. I think 6" is too wide period. But I got them anyway.
