    Hi All

1st post. 1st truck. New member. Just bought a 2017 Tacoma Double Cab Off Road and have questions about upgrading speakers. Anyone swapped out the stocks for Focals with minimal mounting issues? I read on Crutchfield they won't fit but they dont have specific details so I thought I would ask the experts here :)

Yes Sir! Gotta feed Focals. I like their home audio so figured I'd try their car audio. I like it when brands I respect cross over. Anyway just making sure the Focals will fit without cutting or drilling.

They fit I have the Focal 165KRX2 component set. I just had installed about a week ago. Along with an Audison Bit One HD and AV 5.1k HD amp to run them active.

Pretty much any Focal 6.5 should fit, maybe not the elites, but that's a whole different question there. I run Hybrid Legatia's which are similar size wise to the Focals and they fit just fine. If you need adapters talk to @Mr Marv

I used the tweets that came with the Focals components.

    Audio, lots of it
6.5" with the proper mounting plates will fit for sure. I have a set of 165wrc utopias ready to go in as soon as my truck gets here in a few weeks!

I had the speakers installed professionally when they installed the amp at the same time.
The Focals come with the adaptors so you can just plug them into the factory speaker harness without cutting any wires and a speaker mount isn't needed.
I would have done it myself, but at this point I have more money than time.
