You just have to remove the armrest/switch panel with the two screws holding it in place. Once off the door panel there one wire harness clip you have to undo and then you can remove the switch from the panel.

    Is that what you're asking?

I popped the round plastic caps off and removed the two screws and the armrest won't budge. Then I posted this question. Maybe I should tug on the armrest harder?? Thanks for your rapid response!!!

I'm trying to rack my brain from when I tore apart my interior. I don't think there's any little screws on the backside of the door panel holding that piece on. Try to gently "massage" it off the door panel.

If not you can just carefully remove the switch panel by prying it "up and out" off the armrest. Here's a pic of when I did that to my passenger side. You can see the armrest still on the door panel in the back ground. One wire harness clip for the window switch and one for the door lock switch. Be very careful though, the clip in the front of the switch panel can easily break.

Note to others: Lift the panel from the front and, after the front clip is clear, slide forward to clear the rear "tab". It is pretty darn easy now that I've been shown how!

Hey Madjik, ever had any issues with sporadic driver side window operation? I'm thinking I may have to pull the switch and try to open it up and flush it with contact cleaner. I have it narrowed down to dirty contacts I think, operation is less sporadic after a spraying some cleaner in from above.
Just need to get some of the door panel clips, since they are on the last legs from spaeker installation.

Well I have it all torn apart and since some of the springs came out unauthorized I am try to figure out where they came from. Did you use dielectric grease to hold the spring in the window lock switch.
