I suppose you're right. I want to pick up a 1911 first though.

I did just order some XS Big Dot sights for my XDS .45.

No Cons that I have heard of yet.
    Pros:
The glass is clean and clear, FFP is the absolute shit! The redical is illuminated for those that like that, but just the center portion of the optic is lit not the whole thing and the on and off is 11 levels that click from off to on to off to on, so you don't have to click through all of the levels of brightness and it automatically turns off if you leave it on. 34mm tube, what's not to like about that. One of the main things that attracted me to that specific Burris was the radical, I like the tiny square in the center with open space around the square making it much easier to see small targets like gophers and groundhogs . Did I mention FFP was the shit, LOL

the only thing im hung up on is the length. 3.5".. so not much better than my XDS, so contemplating a fullsize, BUT.. would like to carry it maybe and obviously a fullsize will make that more difficult.

Difficult but IMO worth it. I carry my P220 and will now be carrying the P226 depending on the day. Just have to get a little more creative.

It all depends on what you are happiest with. I'm more confident and comfortable carrying a full size because they are what I shoot 99% of the time. :notsure:

Thanks ,I love it so far, I've yet to take it out to shoot it, but so far it makes target acquisition lightning fast...

thats what I'm stuck on. it most likely will be a target/fun gun.. so longer barrel will definitely help. maybe compromise and find a 4.25"? lol
