4.88 for 35's? I've been told by many that the 4.56 syncs perfectly with the AT and 35's. And 4.88 is good for the MT and 35's.

But that's just what this peon has been told and figured with math.

Shipping kills that deal. Eats up over half of the install labor cost. So you would have to cut your own legs on labor costs. Plus if they don't do the install you don't get nearly the same discount is what they told me.

Your truck your money. I was just sharing my personal experience. I drove my truck for 4 years on 33's and wheeled at least once a month and never wanted/felt like I needed a regear until I up sized to the current tires.

Then it sounds like you should schedule a time for @DOUBLLD to do your install. Seems it would greatly benefit you to keep it local, plus looks like you have researched this far more than I have.

Not sure how much a first gen correlates, but I had 35s on mine with 4.88s with AT. It had very responsive power, but damn that thing ate gas like no tomorrow. Because of this, I am thinking that 4.56s might also be ideal for 35s. I have to admit, I get around pretty good with the stock gears, but I enjoy just cruising now.

    Chantilly Toyota: $533
    Leesburg Toyota: $250
    C&C Auto: BG synthetic $230
    High Tech: BG synthetic $220

Would you do BG or Toyota fluids?
