    Sooo many Tacos...

I just got back from a trip to the big island (my 1st time to Hawaii). I was so pleasantly surprised at the number of Tacos I saw there. It felt like 1 out of every 4 households had a Taco :)

Having now been to all 50 states, I would bet anything that there are more Tacos as a percentage of the population in Hawaii than anywhere else. And I saw many great custom rigs. Totally epic!

From what a friend told me, alot of corporate
Toyota engineers come to Hawaii to find out what they could work on and problems we are having with tacomas. I believe we have the most sales!

Any of you know of any really fun driving roads on the island? I have a little miata, and i can't figure out where everyone's taking their cars. I'm just seeing speeding tickets everywhere at the moment.

Big islands getting too overcrowded and run by non-natives to be having fun driving on these roads…plus i dont know if you wanna be tearing shit up when the county rather use the money to block public access and improve tourist areas than fix the roads.

Theres a race track in Hilo…1/4 mile, dirt oval, and SCCA course. Once in awhile theyll host a mud bog...

oh, no doubt about that... what you wrote is truth. plenty transplants coming here and trying to change things to fit their agenda... closing shit, gating shit, regulating shit. it's insane.

but on the flip side of that coin, there's a lot of locals, i.e. born & raised, who ruin shit for everyone too. in fact, I've witnessed locals completely trash fishing grounds after their trip, abandon cars in the bushes, do shit that you wouldn't believe people with common sense would do (maybe cause the drugs). behavior like that is just the catalyst.

Ive seen both and sad what some things come down too. Its part of the reason why that area is regulated too much. In the late 90s and early 2000s it was the best place to hold a friday night beach party.

Aloha, anyone on the Big I got some All Pro standard rear springs that they wanna let go? My 3" AAL is way too stiff off road! D

no problem. I kinda want to swap my Dakar's for AP standards. I don't really need the overloads that the Dakar's have.

Yeah, stiff & jumpy with the AAL in back & 3" spacer on the front...they're OK for the stance, but really gives up a lot in performance! I'd like to be able to drink :proposetoast: while traveling up and down the trail instead of getting locked up in my seat belt or jerking at every little bump or pothole! Haha! Mahalo for the response! If I don't get a used set, maybe I'll jump in on the next B.I. group buy!

if youre on ig, check out three hills offroad, he is a dealer for allpro and is offering free shipping. He also goes as @1uzrnr on here.

universal4x4 is going to offer free shipping for trail gear products in april.

I went with the allpro expos. Alittle stiff, but I like it way better than the stock stuff. The back didnt come up as high as I would like it, does that cali lean/bro stance. If anything I dont want to add blocks or another leaf, so eventually a different shackle mount.
Curious how the allpro standards are…and dakars. Wouldnt mind seeing for myself what I perfer

Ok braddah, mahalo! I'll go check him out! Yeah, I just want the rear to soak up the bumps here when I travel to our surf & fishing spots! The AAL is irritating..it basically jumps when hitting potholes or bumps! Shoots!
