I was told by my salesman that the ORs have better resale generally than do Sports. I also was very mildly offended by the non-functional skewp, although certainly understand that vehicle manufacturers use lots of cosmetic features, lights, color, styling, etc., to achieve a desired effect. Lastly, I found that the OR seemed to have a slightly more forgiving ride/suspension. You chose well.

Not me. I got the OR 4x4 long bed DC. The dealer had got in a PRO two weeks later and I seriously considered trading my OR. Got to thinking if I pulled off this trade I would lose my long bed, sunroof, and JBL. Too much for me to give up although I would miss out on the leather. However, ordering some leather seat covers fixed that. Love my DCLB OR

Sometimes I wish I got a pro, but I absolutely need the long bed. Eventually I will do a lift and new wheels, and then it will be better than a pro IMO, so in the long run I'm good.

No regrets here either...but I have to admit my local dealer saved me from a huge one.

I was originally looking for a TRDOR DCSB in quicksand without the JBL/tech pack. When they finally got a truck in without the JBL/Tech pack he gave me a call to come out and look at it. It was a TRD OR but it was MGM not quicksand...and it was also a long bed and not the short bed I had originally been looking for. I resisted but still agreed to come out and look at it in person.

SOOOOOO glad I did!! When I saw the MGM in person next to a quicksand on a Sport the MGM just blew the Quicksand away to my eyes. The MGM color in the sun with the metallic finish is just so cool...then the black accents of the TRD OR just finish it off. Also....when I saw the DCLB next to a DCSB I knew the short bed was not going to cut it for me and my overlanding/camping needs. At that point the long bed was the only way to go for me. I didn't realize till joining this site how hard it can be to find a TRD OR DCLB.

So luckily I took my salesman's advice and came out to look because now I have my dream truck in the exact configuration that works for my daily commute and weekend warrior activities. Moral of the story it pays to truly take your time and look around at all the options and configurations to make sure you get exactly what you want.

I kind of wish I got a DC sometimes. I mean, the AC looks better, but I wish I had the additional interior space.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 2016 Frontier, but the seller wouldnt negotiate and I really wanted a Taco so I wouldnt budge on the price either. Glad I didnt buy it, or I would have never had the chance to buy my Taco and would really have regretted buying the Frontier! But No, I dont regret buying my Sport DCSB.

Sometimes I'm like, why sport? Off road has locker out the gates. But I will not care once I add ARB. But the A-trac is not an option unless I trade in for OR. Not sure it's worth it for me.... but I wonder about it sometimes if I got the off road instead, if I'd really miss the $1300 Price difference from the sport. Prob not. Oh well.
