Anyone Have Their Wisdom Teeth Removed???

I had em taken out today. I'm not old enough to get my permit in MA anyway. My mom drove me there and home.

 

I'm with him....it took about 14 days to heel. It's really not that bad. They knock you out so you don't feel anything. What ever you do don't wait until your in your late 60's or beyond. It'll hurt worse and last a lot longer or so it looked to me when I watched alot of the older folk come in and help one out the door into the car! YIKES!!!

 

I got mine out this morning. I got the anesthesia and then about 2 minutes later was out of it. Felt like it took about 5 minutes when it actually took an hour. The doctor told me they gave me my hat and I put it on my head but I don't remember doing that... got wheel chaired almost all the way to the car, then almost took a face plant into the side walk, walking 10 feet to the car. hahaha

 

Had all mine taken out in 12 minutes. From what my mom says i came out flirting with the nurses and started signing autographs. I just remember waking up halfway thru starsky and hutch...oh yeah, and i guess i told my dad lets go to the golf course and find some b*****s...definitely not one of my finer moments

 

I only had two, my other two just aren't there so I'm thankful for that . But they just put you out and give you a bunch of medicine, its really sore for a couple weeks but its not near as bad of a surgery as you'd think. Just dont mess with the stitches and get a syringe to flush out the holes where your teeth where so food doesn't get stuck down in there and mess up the healing. Thankfully I went to the dentist not too long after i had mine done and the woman saw where food was getting stuck down in there messing it up and gave me a syringe. But just keep it clean and you'll be good to go
