They look nice, how tight are they on the center console. Are they holes for a harness. And accessories, heated seats, etc?

go here and buy a set of front drivers bucket seat mounting brackets http://www.car-part.com/index.htm

beyond that you can find a set of 3rd gen 4runner seat rails and drill out the front mounting foot and swap it out with your old ones from the 60 seat

Welp. Without a grinder or welding supplies it looks like I'm in over my head. Time to put everything back together.

if you get the seat brackets for drivers bucket seat, they simply bolt on to the 4runner seat and your done, its now a Tacoma bucket seat

the bolts are under the seats plastic side covers

This is where I'm at (sorry about the mess) and I'm stuck. I either need to get the track off or I need to get the legs off. Both of which seem impossible without the right power tools.

I put a set of these type 4runner seats in my Tacoma 10 years ago and they fit perfect, I cut the front bolt that holds the small leg part that attached to the body and then drilled a new hole and bolted the small leg through the frame after it was aligned to the body screw hole. Used a grinder for my job. You can buy a hand grinder for 40 bucks, Should be welded,
If you can save some money and get Corbeau seats and the seat sliders and tracks is a great choice, is an hour swap,I just put the LG1 seats on today, so much better than the 4 runner seat, so will probably toss the 4runner seats as they are worn out.

Running 300 watt alpine amp with a 10" kicker sub speaker and kicker encloser as you see, has a ton of punch and dissapears behind the seat and under it.
Alpine reciever with Polk audio split speaker in the doors and tweeters up by the inside side mirror location that the 4 runners use. System is 4 years old,
Is a satellite system, Bluetooth, etc, it rocks

I had cartoys do the install, I bought the kicker speaker and kicker enclosure separate and had them bundle the rest. They had a special running and saved 150.00. Don't remember the exact total but around 650.00 minus discount of 150 =500 for everything.
10" Kicker Sub speaker, kicker sub enclosure, alpine 300 amp, Alpine radio, Polk audio spit speakers with separate tweeters, 4 total plus sub,
This kicker sub enclosure fits perfectly and has to be this model for the Tacoma reg cab

Front and rear diffs re-geared to 4.88 dirty 30 drive axles. and a rhino pack clutch. Custom exhaust and huge mudflaps!
you can separate them but it's a PIA! Best way i have found to do this is just take a saws all in between the feet and rails. There are 2 big pins and a series of spot welds holding them together. What i did was cut the feet off only then i bolted them back in the truck. Then i took a thin strip of metal 2"x 12" and layed it onto the feet and clamped it with vise grips a couple of them. Then i removed them from the truck and welded the thin strip to hold the spacing then i put them back in the truck and bolted em down made sure they were square and clamped angle iron to the feet. Then took them out again and i then welded the angle iron onto the feet and then took them out again and instead of trying to weld the sliders\rollers on. I attached them to the seat like they were in stalled and then i drapped welding blanket on the seat and welded the slider to the angle iron. Now i can take the seats off the sliders with 4 big allen bolts.

How are the LG1 Seats? Reason I ask- I bought the Corbeau Baja RS seats with brackets. Didn't quite feel right :(
Stumbled on a pair of the Moab Reclining covered in Neporene. Beautiful seat, still feels weird, not enough side support for me and I can never get the angles right, almost like the seat is too low to the floor. Since I'm already invested in the brackets, and will likely sell both of the above for something else, hadn't even looked at the LG1 but it looks nice. Lot's of bread though.

Also- does your center console still open with them in place?
Thanks for any feedback, I've been hurting every time I drive this truck for too long!
    Mike

Seats are a funny thing, for one person they are great and another they are bad depending on each persons taste and body type. I would not buy a seat unless you did a test drive or try the seat out. To many variables, I was able to test the LG1, Baja, GLX II, seats at a 4 by 4 outlet, I went with the LG1 seats because I wanted a seat that held me in tight and the other two did not do this. The seat is definitely a race car type seat,
Not a Cadillac soft bouncy e seat,it is a firm, supportive seat and more so from the butt up through the back area with high bolsters on either sides of the back. The LG1 has Low bolsters on the lower seat area so your legs are not forced to point straight which is important also. They do sit at least an inch lower or so, but for me
6.1" and 185 it's a good thing and gives me more head room and seats do recline, just have to get used to the change. They do sell some hardware to raise the seat I believe if needed, just have to call them. The LG1
is the same width as the 4 runner seat across 22" so the LG1 seat really fits like a glove in my Tacoma, and does not touch the middle console or touch the door panels. If you want to have a console 22" seat across is about the max You have to deal with to not interfere with touching doors or consloe, You have to bend the seat belt clips arms to adjust the angle and get 5/16" bolts 1/2" long and washers to attach the seat belt clips to the seat frame.
The LG1 comes in two sizes, a standard size and a larger size by 1.5" larger all the way around and I don't think the larger size would fit a Tacoma, if so would hit the console and would need to be removed.
My biggest fear spending 1000 on seats and brackets was they would not fit correctly,
Color me surprised, they are an absolutely perfect fit. After 520,000 miles of driving and sliding
around I got a late Christmas present for myself. Have not done any long trips yet, but so far all is perfect.
The seats I put in my truck 10 years ago were 4runner seats and as you can see by looking at them compared to the LG1 seats, the 4runner seats look fat and flat across the front. The LG1 seats are a smaller in overall size than the 4runner seats, so the cab area feels a little bigger now and there is no adjustment for the headrest so that section is lower and hits me at the top of the back of the neck, Not the head area , depending on your height this will vary

Thanks for the feedback. I would love to try these out before buying them, having a hard time finding a place that stocks them, they all seem to order from the factory and drop ship. If anybody wants to try the Baja RS and Moab seats I'm happy to let you try them in my truck!

Yup I called Corbeau and they told me what distributorships for my area sold them and what seats were at each distributorship for a test ride, try giving them a call
