Got the Flux beams installed last night and I definitely need to re-aim my headlights up. I've added about 100lbs to the nose of my truck and it's really noticeable how short the cut-off is now.

These don't throw nearly as much light as my Baja Designs Sport lights that I have for fog lights but for around town use I think they'll work pretty decently.

I had to use the polarity adapter harness that they included with the kit too.

Anyone have problems with moisture in the fogs using the OPT7 Fluxbeam? Getting rain here in Cali and just noticed it. Already made sure they are installed properly. IMG_0392.jpg

OPT7 vs. Diode Dynamics? Anyone have a comparison?

I hate that our stock lows / fogs come yellow in comparison to the DRls...just looking for a direct plug and play replacement.

I have opt7 in my lows/highs as well as the fog version in my fogs. I posted the install somewhere. Very happy with them. The lows/highs bulbs were 99 per set and the fogs were around 35-40 for the set. I later did Diode Dynamics for reverse, turn (front and rear) and brake. Very happy with the end result.

Let me know if you have problems finding the post or have other questions

which fog lights did you use? I thought everyone was putting the same set in fogs as the low beams. Thanks!

I also have installed opt7's flux beam x led lights and they are awesome with no fitment issues and the light is great!!!! I have been using them for about 3 weeks now and they are quiet running also.I also have diode dynamics top brightness fog leds and they are great bulbs also and match the color of the opt 7 bulbs perfect.

I just ordered the FluxBeam for my lows, i plan on running the baja designs for my fogs. A few questions for the group.
    1. Are these truly plug and play? (WTH is the whole grommet thing?) Are there ANY mods needing to be done for this install?
    2. Am I plugging the stock plug right into these puppies or do I need to use an adapter?
    3. Have users noticed any problems with moisture in their housings?
    4. Any other must know things before i fully commit to these?

So I went through entire post. Thanks to everybody who had helpful input. I had items in my cart on Amazon then noticed one customer review commenting on newer "opt7 fluxbeam x". Noticed they are more expensive at $109.99 on eBay. Anybody here have knowledge of the new one compared to the original fluxbeam?

I went ahead and ordered the newer Fluxbeam X. Not sure how it stacks up to first version. So my first impression of it is that they feel real premium in the hand as far as build quality. Installation was easy except the connector could be inserted both ways from the cars wiring harness which can be confusing. I only found out because I inserted it the wrong way and it was very loose and the light went out on me. The light is a perfect match to my Drl and in no way do they look blue as I've read in some other post.
Driving around the city the lights projects pretty good and has good cut offs it doesn't appear to be blinding to other cars. But then I took my truck to the back roads where it is pitch dark. Here is where the lights become a problem. The throw seems very short and the cut off is so dramatic it feels like a perfect square box of light and everything outside of it is pitch dark. I wasn't driving very fast but if I was I wouldn't feel very safe. High beams would be necessary. Other then that I love my new set up. I also changed out my fogs with Optilux Xenon yellow Halogen.
