    One was a temperature related crack. Defrost on a frozen windshield. Started small and travelled across. Crack was there for 2 years until a bird finished off that windshield. 2nd one started cracking near the rear view mirror. Hasn't spread in a year.

    Wish I had a cooler story. Branches don't seem to affect my glass.

    Btw I have always stuck a screwdriver in the fins of the rotor and wedged it against the caliper to break the nut loose. No extra hands needed.
