Got about 3 hrs into Resident Evil 7.

Decent & creepy so far.

 

Dont suppose any of you guys have a PS3 controller youd want to sell? Looks like mine is dead and wont charge. Didnt realize they would still be freakin 50 bucks for a Sony one even used ones seem expensive.

I was poking around on the Playstation Store to see if the pre order was already up and the Gold Edition with the extra DLC / expansion packs included is $129

In the meantime I know you're still invested in Fallout but you might want to check out Horizon Zero Dawn. It seems right up your alley since you like to complete 100% of the game. I actually purchased it off the PS Store (which I rarely do) since judging from how long it's been in development and all the pre release gameplay and footage I knew it wouldn't be a disappointment. It came out today (last night actually) and I'm about an hour into it and it is a epically beautiful game with enough to keep you occupied for hours upon end. Not to mention it's one of the most beautiful games made to date.

I think you'll like it Rob. I never purchase a digital copy of a game anymore after the disappointment The Division was to me. But I've been watching this game for quite a while and it is really a good game. I got to play it last night since I pre downloaded it and man is it beautiful. Really well crafted game.

 

@OZ-T Pick up Horizon Zero Dawn. I think you would love it. Unbelievable storyline, great action, and a perfect protagonist. And since you are a completionist then there is plenty to do in this game. Not to mention it has the best graphics I've seen so far on the PS4. I feel sorry for the Xbox owners since this is a PS4 exclusive. It needs to be on Xbox so everyone can enjoy this game. It truly is that good.

Horizon Zero Dawn. You'd love it.

 

I agree. I rarely purchase a digital download of a game since if you don't like it you are stuck with it. But this one is worth every penny. In fact I think they aren't charging enough for how good this game actually is. Truly engaging story and the combat is so much fun. Well worth the wait and it did not disappoint in anyway. If you have a PS4 Pro with 4k it looks unreal. 10/10 in my book.

Another game that I thought would suck was Ghost Recon Wildlands. Especially after The Division sucked so bad last year. But it's actually a lot of fun and I'm loving the realistic gunplay in the game. Sure you can do some stupid shit (which is fun) but the game in itself is a lot of fun and huge. There is plenty of shit to do in the game. So I'm splitting my time between For Honor (which is a lot of fun), Horizon Zero Dawn, and Ghost Recon. This is all before Mass Effect comes out at the end of the month so I'll have plenty of shit to play. This has been one of the best months for games in a very long time.

 

PS4 4.50 Software Update came out yesterday. Allows you to finally use an external HD to store games. My internal HD was maxing out with like 5 games installed so now I have a 2TB external storing all 15 of my games with extra space to spare.

 

One other reason that I went on and bought the PS4 Pro since it had a 1TB HD in it. And also another reason I only purchase physical copies of games. But yes you're correct. It is nice having the option of storing games on an external HD. I may just buy a SSD drive to store all the videos that I make since that seems to take up the most room on my HD at the moment.

 

Man, that looks badass (narration by Pollyanna McIntosh from The Walking Dead?). At first I thought the nemesis system was a bit complicated, but then it just pisses you off when you get a bunch of slots cleared out and then get your butt kicked. But good balance to the game to keep it challenging. I like where they are taking it, but it seems like you would benefit from playing the first game and learning how it works before diving into this new one.

Agree with everything said on Horizon Zero Dawn. Doing my thing of clearing as many side quests as I can, then going back to the main mission until new side missions pop up. Hoping they do a special tuned profile for the Platinum headset, the Uncharted 4 one was nice.
