Updated my previous light bar wiring write-up in this thread to link to my new LED write-up page here which includes write-ups on front light bars, rock lights, and reverse lights, and footwell lights. Thanks!

Thanks! I hope it's helpful. I love the forum, it's a wealth of info. I used a few other users' guides to make mine. I tried to be overly thorough so someone could easily follow step-by-step and have everything they need. Note: if you are using a different light bar or harness, the colors of the wiring may be different. You can use the schematics I have to cross-reference what they are for your install though.

Great write-up, thank you. I hate to spend more on brackets than the lights. Was this needed or can I use something else?

Thanks! Happy to help. I know that it seems silly. Most buy more expensive light bars but I'm happy with this one for the cost. Some people drill into the crash bars or the plastic bezel piece but I didn't want to do that for a few reasons. These are super stout and are 100% bolt-on and reuse the factory hardware. They place the light bar right where it needs to be. There are a few other companies that make them but they all around the same price and quality. I scored mine for just a few dollars cheaper due to them being used from another member. If I had to do it again, with all the costs new, I'd still order the same setup that I outlined.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess it is what it is. I do always prefer something to bolt-on, so I may get them. As for the cost of the lightbar, I'm convinced many people focus on the brand name and pay more as a result, but this accessory is hidden so as long as it works decently I'm all for it. Thanks again!

I was super happy with everything all around. Everything was bolt-on with minor invasive operations to the truck except trimming of the plastic wind deflectors and the small t-tap splice of the rear cargo light wire. Those are unavoidable I think.

What wiring harness are you using? Same as mine? If so, I can help you with which wire on the switch should go to which wire on the harness.

Which wiring harness are you using from the light bar to the switch? MicTuning as well with white, black, and red cables going to the cab?

I was considering getting a diode dynamics 30" stage series, but they don't offer stealth brackets. Too bad.

You can buy the brackets from Caliraised or Apex Fab Works and use with pretty much any 30" lightbar.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I have a build page as well. I put the walk through on this post, as opposed to my own, so that more people who may need it can see it. Aussies are the best, I've never seen such a smart dog before adopting Wiley. He's my little buddy, I love his goofy self a ton!

It's white black and blue.... which makes thst harness all the more confusing. I'm tracking blue is the power on for the relay. White is batt and black is neg

Here's my best guess on wiring up your rocker switch to your harness:
    • Switch 8 to harness black (ground) - use butt connector
    • Switch 7 to switch 8 / harness black (ground) - use jumper or butt connector
    • Switch 2 to harness white (positive power / inline fuse source) - use butt connector
    • Switch 3 to harness blue (light bar / relay) - use butt connector
    • Switch 6 to green cargo light wire (come on with interior lights) - use t-tap

I posted this in the wrong thread, lol, I definitely subbed your build page. They are, I'm single active duty and once we moved to 12 hour shifts, my roommates got orders and school, work, etc. I gave her to a family with a horse farm, only seemed right, but my heart definitely aches. So smart though. I had her doing all kinds of cool tricks, like bang where I'd shoot her and she'd fall down and play dead. Great loyal amazing dogs.
