So I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger and get my suspension lift. I was wondering if there was a particular UCA you guys recommend over others, specifically considering they will be paired with the Bilstein 6112s up front.

I'm looking at Camburg, Total Chaos, and Light Racing ... but am open to other suggestions.

    Thanks for any input!

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I'm a fan of Total Chaos.

Get the light racing and save money, total chaos is the way to go tho. Both will serve their purpose just fine

Light Racing work good for budget.

That's what I would suggest. Considering you are VA, light racing isn't bad as it is more resistant on the elements. I know some like the billet Icon UCAs. I think any of those three you suggested would work well. Light racing is also the cheaper of the three.

I'm not "too" worried about budget for the UCAs as long as the more expensive options are worth the extra money.

Total chaos is resilient to elements, all require maintenance with the uniball. Just get SPC light racing. You'll be more than happy and save a little money. You gonna jump your truck?

You can get the same number from them all. Light Racing are adjustable, and while some people think they don't hold, they hold just fine if torqued correctly. The others just look pretty in my view.

If that is the case, then shoot for TC. Make sure you get some dry synthetic lube for them and keep them clean after it gets salty out.

You can get the Camburgs that use OEM ball joints (or the MOOG replacements).

That's the way I went. Didn't really want uniballs and didn't need adjustability as long as some additional castor was built-in.

SPC it is then, the common thought on here is everyone needs to build their truck to hit jumps. Which isn't the case. Down the road if you decide jumps are for you; buy the total chaos. But you'll probably have so many other plans on the go for your rig you'll never get around to changing them cause they will be "good enough"

What are the limitations of the light racing arms? Just curious as I wasn't sure if they are "weaker" by design than the others? I personally drive fast off road so I got TC for me...granted mine is part of the kit.

I on the VA coast. I have only considered ball joint arms due to corrosion possiblities. JBA is the leader for me right now.

By limitations you mean? They are fully adjustable which he will need when he lifts the vehicle. I have a drop bracket with the light racing arms and have caught air, they take a hell of a beating and got my allignment right with loads of adjustment to spare. People think they seize up or the ball joint comes loose but I know 5 people with them (plus myself) with nothing but good things to say. I live in northern Ontario (true north) where we get rain, snow, salt, dirt, water - you name it and it stands up to it all. I plan to get uniball (total chaos) but that is only because I have a spending habit. Besides that the ubiballs are much more upkeep than what SPC has to offer. Yeah they hold on better, but like hell if most of us use total chaos to it's ability.

Curious why you would recommend TC over LR for jumping apps?

The limitation in my mind was their early arms had fatigue issues. This is supposedly no longer an issue.

But when you compare them to the TC/Camburg/etc the lack of the gusseting at the bushings is pretty obvious.

I see, just seems to be their rep. With the guys that run total chaos in the races. This is a whole other story tho, I mean light racing can take it but not to the same extent right
