Got my taxes back and sold my camper shell with hopes of pulling the trigger on an OME lift kit that I've been eyeballing for months and months. But what was about $1,100 maybe $1,200 is now nearly $1,500 with shipping. Headstrong is around $1,300 but still :annoyed:

Anyway, anyone have suggestions on a quality kit I could get instead? Hoping for around 2.5" and need new leaf since mine are frowning. I've searched for hrs on here and interweb and can't grasp lifts yet. I'd love to stay around $1000.

Bout ready to just say forget it and buy cheapo shocks and such from advance or napa. I know I'm :deadhorse:but I'm just tired of saving and had all hopes of getting what I wanted finally and a couple more hundred shouldn't be a big deal but I work hard for every penny.

    No problem :hattip:
Hopefully that price works and one of those two OME kits is what you were looking for. If you have any questions let me know, I'll be at work for another 17 minutes lol

I totally understand that. Though I've moved on to putting an order in on Kings tomorrow, I know how the research process goes. You think you know all that you need, just to find out there's now more. I'd suggest trying to swallow the whole OME cost, it'll pay off in the long run. I know how you feel though, I work really hard for everything I have.

I started 1.5yrs ago looking at a Rough Country spacer lift, to a 5100 setup, to OME, to low end Fox, to full Kings. The longer I waited the more I saved up and the more I realized what I really wanted in the end to leave me happy. You'll be better off spending the extra couple hundred than regretting purchasing some cheap suspension.

Got 90% from LowRange Offroad and then a few odds and ins from Wheelers Offroad and AutoAnything. It took me about 3 months to slowly piece it together as i waited for deals and sales to pop up. My rear leafs were only 300$ to my door. 450$ for the front coil overs assembled. Then a few things like drivers side spacer and longer top hat studs from wheelers for like 30$

    Arb bull bar
I went with a toytec kit including 3" coils both front and rear bilstein 5100 and toytec aal. That package with shipping was just under $700. Bought arb bullbar with free shipping $866.00. All under general grabber 265-70-r16, $135 a piece with free shipping. It helps if you know exactly what you want and need in a lift, and then you just have to search for the best prices. You can find free shipping deals and package deals all over the place. I knew I would need heavier coils to support the arb, and wanted an additional2" lift. That helped me decide the route I went. I wouldn't buy cheap parts just to have a lifted truck, bad investment plan. You saved all that money which is plenty for a quality bilstein, ome, or toytec lift. Don't waste it on some shit block lift or $70 shocks. Hope this helps!

I aint going with cheap parts... I put a level kit on when I first got the truck a few years ago but didn't know anything about trucks and lifts back then. But now I've learned so much from TW and thus the reason I was planning to go with OME
