Anyone that off roads with 275/70/17's have any issues with tires rubbing underneath the under well? I'm thinking of getting the BFG ko2 in this size?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Depends how hard you wheel. I used to rub on stock TRD Off-road wheel/tire package.

That's the exact same tire I'm running. I have 4" backspaced wheels and a 3" lift. I had some rubbing on the little in front of the wheel mug flaps before I took them off. I got the wheels and tires before my lift and had some slight rubbing on the inside of the wheel well at a full turn.

I ran a set of Cooper AT3s on stock suspension and T4R wheels with no issues although I did remove the front mudflaps.

With 275s, running them on stock wheels is a dangerous game. They come REALLY close to rubbing the UCA, and during certain driving conditions they will rub.

I am running the same tire and wheel combo with 1.5" wheel spacers and a 3" lift. They do rub once in a while but ever so slightly, not enough to notice.

I would post pics but sloshing around in this damn Oregon rain is bad for the phone and makes for terrible pics. I'll post as soon as I can.

    This.

I'm on my second set of 275/70-17 Cooper AT3s and have never come close to rubbing the UCA. I'm not running the Rubicon, mind you, but deep in the elk woods of the mountain west, there's plenty of places to get into trouble and not once have I had a UCA interference issue in more than 70,000 miles. These days I'm running stock T4R wheels with only 15mm of offset and can slide my hand to the palm in between the tire and the UCA. With the 30mm offset of the stock Tacoma TRD Sport wheels, I was only able to get my fingers in between the tire/UCA, but still never had any problems. YMMV....
