I , with my head down, agree. Just wishful thinking. The way they went with the mustang they actually could make a bad ass throwback.

A friend who is a concept vehicle engineer with Ford, at the Louisville truck plant, tells me the Bronco "concept" you're seeing is NOTHING like what the production vehicle will be if/when it rolls off the line. The pictures are just to generate interest and gauge potential customer feedback. So it may end up looking like anything BUT a 1st gen Broncosaurus.

image.jpg Probably more like this, something with the current f150 at the time of release front end. Still would buy though.

No removable top = No Sale.

It would be just another soccer mom SUV (which is unfortunately exactly how a lot of Wrangler Unlimiteds end up spending their days)

Even if the top doesn't come off its, from what I've read any way, being designed to be a very capable off road vehicle. Not saying it won't be driven by soccer moms but it's supposed to be more than just another suv.

It's going to be a 4 door SUV with independent front suspension.

Would look cool but I'd like to see the 5.0 powerstroke they originally advertised in it. If this goes into production it opens the doors back to the 2 door suv and I think someone or hopefully toyota will make a 2 door with removable top and really give jeep a run for their money.
