I really like the Relentless rear bumper. If they're not going to do a kit for 1st gens, then I have to look for other options.

Northwest Trail Innovations has a DIY plate bumper for 1st gens. I don't know much about them. Maybe someone can provide some feedback on quality and fitment.

    Kit starts at $355.

    From their site:
    • Outer shell cnc cut from 3/16" and 10 gage plate
    • Shackle mounts are cnc cut from 5/8" plate and pass through the bumper and mount directly to the frame
    • Proudly made in america with american labour and materials
    • Mounting hardware included

The First post says DIY bumpers and sliders are discontinued.....but if there's enough interest they'll do a group buy. I wonder what their threshold is for "interest".

Oh, I was unaware that this was only for DIY stuff. I thought this was just a general GB idea thread. Should've looked more closely at the thread title lol

Yeah, it doesn't seem like they're planning on putting out a GB on DIY anytime soon. I'm sure they have a reasons, but I wonder why they were discontinued in the 1st place... seems as though it would be an easy profit vs welded ones, even though I'm sure the margin a bit less.

Nice job on the DIY bumper....Came out nice.

Looks like Relentless is still keeping an eye on this thread, maybe they can chime in as to how much interest they need for another GB of DIY kits?

If you cut it, I will weld.

Interested. Come on, way higher margins selling a stack of cut plates vs a fully put together bumper.

*edit - Am I in the right place? 3rd gen all day long?
