Hey all, I am getting a new mountain bike this weekend and have been exploring options to transport the bike safely to the trailhead. I have a few only fork mounts but was not satisfied with any of the methods others used to attach them to the bed. Here's my solution: buy some aluminum stock 1" x 1/8" and make your own rail blocks. Attach with Stainless bolts and lock washers. Less than $15 but that's buying a 4' piece of aluminum with which I could make 40+ mounting blocks.
