lol no joke. I would've if I wanted the more expensive projectors but since I only spent 150ish on mine compared to 500 plus for premade ones, there was no question on what I should do

I was up in the $300 range, plus the paint and dremel and blah blah. Still need to wire the Halos, but ran out of time and energy last night. Finding places to mount the relay and computers kinda sucked too.

Yea the whole process of a bit tedious. I have no idea how some people say you can do it in one day. I can't even get the paint right on mine and it's been like 2 weeks lol.

I just accepted the paint would have some flaws, you cant see them in the housing.

That's good to know. It's hard to get it perfect with a rattle can.

Yeah I did like 3 coats of primer, then 3 coats of semi gloss black. With some sanding. And called it good. Definitely not perfect

First timers always take that long

But after the first one the next ones can be done much faster. I imagine those people that say can do it in a day have done many headlights

Also, if you follow instructions/watch walkthroughs and have no disctractions, and work through the day, it can be done in a day or two. Most people will only put say 3-6 hours into a project before moving on to something else and coming back the next day. Just sayin'

Does anyone have a photo or can tell me what is a good way to wire up my Halo's besides the battery. I would like for them to come on when the truck is on and off when the truck is off. I don't want to take into any of my headlights or parking lights.

Well the easiest way is to splice them into existing headlight wires since they're close and you don't have to run any extra wiring. But wiring is pretty simple, just find a source thats 12v when the truck is on and off when the truck is off and it'll work like you want. Positive and Negative wires go to similar from the little control box that plugs into the halos.

Well duh.... I know all that... that's why I was asking if anyone has done it without having to splice the headlights.
