I'm screwed at work if we lose power. Still haven't gotten the 70k generator up yet.

We've got a new natural gas generator to be installed. A 12-16k APC UPS as well. We already have racked UPS's, but they only give us about 30 minutes to shut down servers until we can get the little 3k Honda generator hooked up.
    Just waiting on the electricians.

We have a $175 Harbor Freight generator and a couple dozen cheap flashlights.

My CEO thinks that if the phones and a few PC's are working that we can still sell stuff and make money. Pretty sure you can have a mile high stack of orders but they don't mean shit if the steel doesn't get welded.

We'd need a couple semi trailer sized geny's to power a couple welders here!

I don't recall the exact year, but not too long ago, Valhalla Golf Club hosted the Ryder Cup world golf championships. We're not far from Valhalla. We had several groups that would meet here, eat and party in the evenings, even playing golf a couple days while they were in town. One was a group of 48 from Ireland. These guys liked their liquor. Much money to be made! 2nd day they were in town we had a tornado blow through, knocking out power for 4 days. We went out and bought several large gas grills to prep food outside, then lit the biggest meeting room with about 100 rechargeable battery lamps. I'd take 'em home at night and hook them up to charge. These guys were so impressed that they left everyone here a $250 tip. Only time in 27+ years I ever got a tip in fact. Every time our power goes out, they threaten to have a big generator installed before the NEXT outage. Unlikely to happen.....

Well I'm ready for LBL. Got tons of Rzr parts- ball joints, wheel bearings, brake pads, door bags, wheel spacers, rims, etc. Got a new AR, looks like I'm good to go for the weekend

Our power was out about 6 times in 2015 and 4 in 2016, took all of 2016 to get them to understand that if you think you want to stay in business with the big dogs, you gotta prepare like they do too!
End of year expenses came in and all of a sudden we have overkill of a generator!

Exactly! I figured I would fly the drone and take some target practice with the AR from the Rzr! Few beers I bet its possible!
