Well kinda both, I am going to put a fiberglass cap on the Taco which will add some weight to the back soooo, I picked up the AAL to maintain rear height. They hold weight great as is but I figured heck, why not add the AAL? :)

Wow, do you think you'll have any problems going that high? I'm not sure if I'll be keeping my dakars whole or removing a leeaf when I order them.
BTW, after all your help a while back a finally bought some rims:)

I think I will be just fine. The AAL only increases the height by about 15mm and I expect that there will be a little drop from the addition of a cap so I am hoping the two will offset and it will be a wash. What kind of rims did you get?

Hey Sean, thanks for posting, it was your build thread that gave me the idea to add the OME AAL.

Thanks man. I appreciate the kind words. I have more mods to come....There is a bunch of stuff sitting in my basement just waiting to be installed...Only waiting on some warmer weather and the 3+ feet of snow we have on the ground to melt. Once I finish with the rear suspension upgrades, I think I am going to install an on-board air setup and maybe some bed lights. I can't wait for spring to arrive....After 2 massive snow storms (33" in the first blizzard and 23" in the second blizzard) I am a little tired of the snow. We are actually supposed to get another 4-5" today. Ugh...

Update: After breaking the ring and pinion pulling out of my driveway (a total uncalled for FAIL Read more here). Inspection revealed a broken ring and pinion which also damaged the rear E-Locker. I was in 4Lo when and was sitting still when I locked the rear. I waited for everything to engage and slowly began to pull forward and kaboom the rear blew up. I had the truck towed to the dealer and they replaced the entire 3rd member under warranty! The inspecting tech noted that there were no signs of abuse or tampering with the rear.

The new third member is working great only now I have a mild intermittent clunking coming from the font end when transitioning from 4H to 2H. I hope there is nothing wrong with the transfer case. Everything seems to be working just fine but the slight noise makes me a little nervous.

Does anyone else rear a slight "clunk" when moving out of 4 wheel drive?

Here are a few pictures to keep the thread up to date.

    Yay! All better!

Yeah, I get the clunk coming out of 4wd too. I understood it to be normal, maybe someone can back me up. I'm finally going to be catching up to you soon dave. Got my wheels and tires sitting here at the house, lift is ordered, just waiting on the dakars on back order. ;)

Sweet! Can't wait to see some pics!

Thanks guys. Here is the latest update for ya: I am waiting for spring to install my 5150 Shocks, Brake lines, and All Pro U-Bolt Flip kit so to satisfy my Mod bug I decided to upgrade my wipers. I know it is not much of a mod but I needed to replace my wipers anyway and a long-time friend recommended PIAA. I took his word for it and could not be happier. After many disappointments with brands like RainX, Anco, and Bosch I decided to take my friend's recommendation and bought PIAA Super Silicone Wipers in Black (these are by far the most expensive wipers I have purchased but worth the cost in my opinion). They work great and the silicone coating works to bead rain much like RainX does only you never have to apply any coatings after the initial install. You will need a 22" blade for the driver's side and a 21" blade for the passenger side. Here are some pictures:

PIAA Super Silicone (22" and 21"):
    Wipers_5577bfd4e19def0b11fdceb932c0272abac969f4.jpg

Be sure to clean you windshield really well and then apply the included "treatment":
    Treatement_91d52b1355599711cefbef05e86561e3359eb908.jpg

The Wipers come with several adapters and you will need adaper "C-11" to install them:

After applying the treatment to the glass, wait about 10 minutes and polish the treatment with a soft cloth (much like removing RainX) then pop on the new blades:

Hi Sean, I too had Bosch Icons on my other car and was also very disappointed. My buddy swears by the PIAAs. He has run them for over three years on his daily commuter and has never had any issues. The best price I found was through Amazon ($21.49 each and free shipping). http://www.amazon.com/95055-Super-Silicone-Black-Wiper/dp/B0002Z9QWQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1266700755&sr=8-1 At, $43 bucks they are a little pricey for a set of wiper blades, but if I never have to replace them, I will make up to cost over the long haul. I used them a little today and they are super quiet!

Mats look way sweet, but, with the exception of a little dirt on the pedals, your truck is =much= too clean inside.

I feel a little betrayed...
