I'm just at 59k miles on mine and 15 years old , the local Goodyear wants $500 for belts and hoses

Did my 60k service last year when it had 55k on it and according to Goodyear my hoses and belts were good

That's good. Idk why mine were mush. I know I had to replace tires due to dry rot and they still had tread. At least now I can back up to feeder on wet ground but mpg. Dropped.
Got a bunch of smaller hoses on this engine.
When I was at Lincoln Mercury dealer I had to do the hose jobs. They sucked. Just get a box of hoses and search and replace.

    Well that answers 2 questions.
1 the truck will go 115 mph
2 the truck will not survive a ditch jump
I replaced the belt at 6 years, 120k still looked new. It is now the spare. Hoses still are in good shape. I think it is because I don't wash the truck.

:anonymous: Saturday is my Friday except every other week when it's Friday ... I mean Friday is Friday every other week.

    Got it? o_O

    Keep it billable.

Still blowing here ... 33mph gusting to 56mph. I just removed the drift in front of garage door when I got home. Need to check on that again this afternoon before wife comes home. Wind supposed to die down this evening, only to return Thursday night/Friday morning. Little Skipperke girl is freaking out from the noise, she's gonna need a snuggle I think.

Yep I've had it about the same amount of time. I do know once gone it could never be replaced. I just can't bring myself to spend the money to finish it probably around another 7k

Thankfully not actually snowing, but blowing and drifting the stuff already down. My buddy actually got stuck high centered in a snowdrift last night. Drifted snow can be worse than sand.
