So my headlights were kinda crumbed up and had condensation. With the goal of a retrofit, I bought this set off ebay to keep the peace while I worked on that since I don't seem to have time to take a shit if I need to. Couldn't have the downtime.

Anyway, bought these for just under $100.

They look fantastic on the truck. BUT...

Install was easy enough. That bolt on the bottom was a pita. Cool. THey were in place and looked rad. Time to put the bulbs in...

Holy shit. One was alright - minor annoyance with the clip. The second was a nightmare. The retainer clip fell out and I damn near had to pull the assembly out to get it back in. Wasted a good hour on that, maybe more.

Anyway, everything was fine for a while, but after the first rain I noticed a good amount of condensation in them both. It wasn't anything the halogen heat didn't clear up, but still not a good look.

Fast forward to today when I got new bulbs... I struggled to get either retainer clip open. The plastic hook bit on the driver side actually snapped off so I had to pull it. Being in a hurry since daylight was against me, I drilled a hole in the remaining plastic. It works fine but I'll likely have to pull the whole assembly when these bulbs go. Since I was in a hurry, I didn't think to cover the damn hole and all the plastic shit from the drill dropped right in. A few blasts of air "fixed" it, but I wont be surprised when I see a mess of plastic shit up in there tomorrow after some driving.

Anyway, if you buy these, be aware that they kinda suck.

I bought very similar lights and one is obviously not sealed. They look and fit great though. The reflector and adjustments are goofy as fuck and don't look quite right. I'm not even sure if they're able to adjust anymore, but nobody flashes me and I can see well with the Osram bulbs.

Some things aren't worth getting a "good deal" on.

I know your pain. Bought a set of Depo headlights of Amazon. The first night, they were already fogging up in the bottom corners near the grill. Apparently i didn't put enough silicone, but going to drop some silica packets to help the condensation.
