I'm debating on trading my 2013 Tacoma off road for a 2002 prerunner. Thoughts?

 

Reasons why?

 

Might help to know why, and the terms. Your 2013 is definitely worth more. A lot more.

 

There are no real reasons, other than cost. My 13 has been great to me. It only has 40k on it. The 02 has almost 230k on it. I saw it, and it sparked my interest.

Well you should always consider financial implications before buying a truck, not after... but here you are, so I think you really need to ask yourself if you can/cant afford if and what you would be doing with the extra cash if you had it. Also remember to buy and sell a vehicle you have tax, registration, and other misc fees that are just essentially wasted money.

As far as the 2002 goes. red (-), 2wd (-), mileage (-), and I'm not a fan of any of the modifications the PO made... verdict, PASS.

 

Fair enough. I will pass for sure. I'm saving to start the build on my current truck. Thanks for the input all.

 

230k?! And you want to trade in your newer model with 40k? Just keep your truck
