Planning on facelift for my 2006, what do you guys think is the best brand of headlights? Looking for 2012-15 headlights with a BLHM with halos that I can just buy. I hate taking apart headlights and figuring out any kind of wires is like rocket science to me. Projector retrofit is not really what I'm looking for - costs too much

Depends on what you mean by best? If it is build quality and lighting performance without going to a retrofit then anything with halos in it will likely not be great. Likely to have leaky seals and poor optics which will reduce output. The best aftermarket lights will be CAPA certified headlights, which are aftermarket duplicates of OEM that have been certified to have the same optics and build spec quality. I'd say the best lights are the TRD Pro smoked chrome headlights, similar to the BHLM but not as dark.

I love my TRD Pro headlights! That said, they won't fit your 2006 without a new hood, grill, bumper, and several other cosmetic pieces off of a 2012+ model Tacoma.

I assume by facelift he means he is doing a 2012+ full front end conversion.

I have a plate bumper so I will only need hood (want a scooped OME anyways), and headlights (both are damaged, and I can get a grille for $70
