Tuesday was one of those days that can crush your inner spirit. Made it through, albeit worse for the wear.

Yesterday was long and eventful, just nowhere as bad as Tuesday. Still, I was exhausted. I went to bed early and tried to get a good night of sleep. My phone kept going off all night. I refused to answer. I knew who it was. (individualized ring tone) It was asshat. I get up this morning and find 7 messages. (One would have sufficed, after two, just give up asshole) They were about a "HUGE leak in the kitchen that was flooding the downstairs"....."Massive flooding down in the gym"......OK....He's a bit of a drama queen. (Little boy who cried wolf syndrome)

OK....I get here this morning and find a damp spot about 4" in diameter on a ceiling tile in the gym. A puddle of water on the floor upstairs where some moron (Multiple choices as to WHICH possible moron) had overflowed a sink. From the messages left on my phone, I was expecting to be renting pumps, carpet cleaning equipment, possibly contacting insurance company....who knows. It took 2 of us about 10 minutes to resolve the entire issue.

    IDIOT.

After reviewing the entire situation, I'm not as upset or shocked as one would imagine. I'm not the one with the "issues" here, so I'm good. This only re-affirms my opinion that this guy is an idiot. My instincts told me to ignore the calls last night. As it turns out, my instincts were correct. I'd just like to know how this moron managed to get so far in a world where stupidity of this magnitude usually disqualifies you from positions of authority.

I'll try to remember to take my camera with me when we go to get it, but I bought a mint 1972 4020 diesel/powershift yesterday. Gonna clean it up and possibly re-sell. I think there's at least a couple grand to be made on this with what I paid.... Maybe more. Only 3255 hrs on the clock! Hard to believe how much these tractors have gone up in value. The earlier year 4020's are finally starting to peak or even drop in value. Side console models are still like gold though.
