Hi did some searching, watched a cool video on replacing emergency brake cables.
My question is dealer is saying this housing gizmo is cracked for my emergency brake?
Wants like $400 per plus my dog simon so I won't roll back off a cliff or something.
I am trying to figure out wtf they are talking about?
Of course my inspection is coming up and they do them for free
(since I bought my truck there)
but it really it isn't free
(since they won't do it unless I let them fix this.)
    The E brake works fwiw.
I was told these housing crack on all 2GENs? Truth or not?
    TIA
