i forgot to mention the controller retails for about $29 and he said they can work it into the discount. What do you all think about that

What about for people without the trailer hitch hookup would i just have to hardwire them into my tail lights?

For those of you that still have your spare tire mounted under the bed; make sure the light can accommodate or be modified to allow access. The light I mounted on my truck from Street Glow had to be modified so I can access the spare tire:

Yes you would. And our truck has individual bulbs in the tail lights so you don't have to run the wires up front, or to the third break light. This makes me doubt the need for a controller, but I'll leave it up to you guys

With the exception of the back-up lights (my light bar does not have that feature), I was able to "hard-wire" my light bar right at the trailer plug harness. The wires were clearly labeled on the receptacle cover as to what pin controlled which function.

I'm definitely in for the group buy, the best price I could find is AutoAnything for $143.95 with free shipping.

I couldn't wait, I ordered the Firestorm using the AutoAnything code.
Now I just have to deal with the access hole for the spare tire.

I just bought a light bar, and I can get it all to light up except reverse- I tried splicing it into the brake light just like it says, but it's not working. Am I missing something? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Which light bar did you buy? And I assume it has the reverse light feature.
If so make sure you got a good connection at your splice, those pressure connectors that are popular sometime don't always work the way they should. The best way is solder with heat shrink but that's pretty much permanent. The other thing is checking continuity and voltages, that might be extreme at this point. Start with checking your connections first.
    Good Luck

Isn't that to long for the Taco? I was going to get this one but they only offered the 60 inch one. Good price though.

I got the plasma glow when it was only like 40 bucks on auto anything a long time ago. After about 3 or 4 months it pealed off because dust from offroading somehow made its way onto the sticky tape that held it on and then the tape didn't hold anymore. The I went to open the bed ont day and it squished the light bar because it was just flapping loose.
I loved it while I had it. I want another one but last time I checked the price was on auto anything.com like 6 months ago and it was like 75 bucks :mad:and that is to much for me.:(. But I loved it and want another
