downshifting into S mode

    none as of yet
    is it detrimental to the reving of the engine when downshifting to S4 & on down to 3rd & 2nd.?

    High revving shouldn't be an issue but your not doing that transmission any favors

    Let up on the gas when downshifting just as you would if you had a manual transmission. I use S-mode all the time, using the engine to assist in braking.

    No problem at all. I use it all the time, and have for years. If you are going too fast for the down shift, the truck will tell you and not let you do it.
