Hey everyone! I've been reading this forum for a little while now. It's been a valuable resource in helping me find the right truck.

So today, I jumped in with both feet, and picked up a 2004 Access Cab Off-Road 4x4, 85k, perfect shape -- and since people will surely ask, yeah, I had to pay for it.

That being said, I'm super stoked. I should take delivery of it next week as it makes its trip cross country. First things are going to be figuring out what the right set of Weathertech floor matts are to protect the perfect carpet, and adding a camper shell so I can get my surfboards in the back.

I'll post some pics when I take delivery.

85K? Nice. I see a new timing belt in your near future if it hasn't been done already. May have some new WT mats for you. I (stupidly) ordered them only to find out later they don't fit DCs. They're grey, and sitting in their box in my garage.

    Thanks fellas.

It had timing belt and water pump at 65k -- how often is responsible to replace?

    Looking forward to taking delivery!

Weathertechs are the best. Period. I have Husky in several of my trucks and they're fine. They do the job. The fit and finish of the Weathertech is superior in every way. They also cost a little more. Also if you have a grey interior, the "grey" huskies are more like blue and I hate them. I should have gone with black.

congrat's on the truck, timing belt should be done about every 80-90k miles I believe, just did mine last month.

@vasinvictor I suggested Husky since it was stated that WT doesn't make back seat mats for the DC when I know Husky does - I didn't confirm.

I have the gray you speak of and it's nearly identical with my interior in which I am pleased - albeit mine do not look anyway blue, it could have happened to a certain production line/model. Different strokes for different folks though. I do wish drivers side mat went a little higher on the carpeting to prevent mud near accelerator pedal. Mine fit perfectly and if I was in anyway unhappy, they would have gone back for WT's.

Took delivery. She's perfect. Only complaint is passenger door squeaks opening/closing -- will have to get to the bottom of that.

Ordered up the Weathertech's.. thanks fellas.

My doors squeaked when I got mine, too. WD40'd them and they haven't squeaked since, it's been 10 months.

Nice truck! Water pumps should last 50-60k but you could just wait until it leaks ha
