285/18's do I need a lift or level kit?

    so ordered some new wheels for my 2017 TRD Sport. 18" and the tire guys want to put 285/60 or 65/ tires on - will I have to add a level or lift kit?

    Yes, and then some. You'll rub like a mofo if you put that on stock suspension.

    Man thanks for that. Butler tire seems to think could get away without but I bet they will tell me we have to do it and it will only cost an arm and a leg

    Awesome! I was really worried that I would have to do that and I did not want to mess up my brand new suspension. Thanks for the great pics and the wheel and tire combo you have looks great! Especially on the color

    these tires were installed by the dealer where I bought the truck beforehand. I was concerned about it too and asking about this was my first post on TW (noob!).
    I have learned that there are slight discrepancies between different tires even with the same code numbers, but I would think you will be ok- but turn those wheels hard and visually check before you leave/ pay.

    -18mm offset? holy shit I didn't think those existed.

    yeah, I double checked when I bought the 5th tire/ rim for the full size spare- 18mm offset.

    Do you mean +18mm? The wheel I googled and they offer it with +18.

    18x9?

    Some people say they don't rub by adjusting caster and other say that you need to use the search feature.
