You talked about brisket for like 3 pages. I've had brisket once and it was absolutely horrible.
I hope it was just cooked horrible at that restaurant cause food shouldn't taste like shit.

I'm going the 5100s and AAL route with my truck. Its a solid setup. You can also look into getting OME springs and running the 5100s at their 0 setting when your ready to go a little taller than what the 5100s provide.

 

This exactly what I did- a more capable stock "plus" look.

 

Lots of talk on here about Iridium plugs, most say only in a 4 cylinder. Get the stock Denso and see if you have a change.

 

Unfortunately Toyota doesn't provide a fitting for a fuel gauge.. I've got a link to a Dorman part that will let you tap in somewhere. I'll pm you.

 

Brisket is amazing. Definitely can be done wrong though. Talk to some foodies and find a good BBQ shack.

My first lift was OME 884s with 5100s and an AAL. I went this route because I didn't want to spend money on UCAs to get a good alignment. In the end, I wish I had saved up more to get OME 885 coils and UCAs. I ended up getting JBA UCAs and selling my 884s and old AAL to finally get the lift I wanted. Trust me, it's worth it to just save up for the parts and do the work yourself
