No way this was an accident . It's deep and i can feel it with my fingernail. Picked up touch up paint from the dealership. Need to figure out how I'm gonna tackle this since I don't know much about paint repair.

    IMG_5738.jpg IMG_5737.jpg

On another note, ordered a set of Extreme HIDs 5000k from Xenon Depot since they had a 20% discount. Replaced the Sylvania ZXEs I had. Also ordered amber LED fog light bulbs to replace the ultra white LEDs. Pretty happy with the look and the HIDs are pretty bright.

    Comparison shot.

    IMG_5873.jpg

Everything installed. Hid the ballasts pretty well too.

I took mine in 10-12 years ago after a frustrating Moab trip. They were not that expensive. They are a little dusty.IMG_20170302_230834818_zpstmltlnsj_f11570909b44fc86fb834473a6cffa4452cd3a56.jpg IMG_20170302_231044_zpss7drwaqo_c35a56c2c7509326032bcc4046ce0c27aae070d5.jpg

Rtt with an 8 foot awning.. tuff stuff tent in santa ana. Looks pretty solid with the construction. I havent got my bed rack yet but will be getting it all dialed in soon.

He said his manufacturer is the same as all the name brand guys and this one was the larger one for 1000 w annex

and an 6.5x8 awning for 200

not sure about the awning as its kinda large. I wanted one of those 270 degree ones but they are like 1500

Yes, those are mine. You can get them at tacomavinyldecals.com. I don't have TRD red listed but you can always request them.

May I ask which one people are getting and if there are any recommendations for one verses the other? Elite verses Plus verses just quicklift, etc?

Wow. That is scary. Maybe there is something else wrong. I have a 2017 and I had the shifting issue, but once I got the TSB update, all of that has vanished.

Well this is what happens when you get distracted looking for a code for the gate at the storage lot in pouring rain. I ordered a new fender and having it painted then just changing it out. I know it can be fixed but I don't have the time to put the truck down for the 2 days it will take to do. The door got a little but my guy said he could get it bent back without painting the door when fender is off.

Get a spray bottle with water and spray the scratch. If it "disappears" or can't be seen when it's wet, it should be an easy fix, just a clearcoat fix (recommend looking up ChrisFix on YouTube for scratch repair). If you can still see it really well, you've gone down into the paint. That's the stuff I won't touch. I also only have experience with fixing clearcoat scratches for what it's worth

Looks like it's just the Clear Coat that's scratched. That should be able to be buffed out. Touch up paint is going to leave a visible line no matter how well you do it. Scratch remover and a buffer will get that out with some work.
