If I looked in here earlier I could have met you guys with my FJ and two other FJ's. I'll be looking to see if you guys do something in NY again. I use to live in Putnam County NY from 92 till last year when I moved up near Albany.

    Ugh, that blows man.

I'm trying to get some rochester/buffalo guys to go out to whispering pines for a day of offroading. I've never been there so no idea what to expect, I figure either way it will be better than another weekend at home though. Right now I'm shooting for the 5th but nobody else has expressed interest. I'm most likely going to go regardless and I'll post up what it's like, if it's cool maybe you guys wanna join sometime?

Hello Fellow NY Tacoma owners. I will be traveling to Sheffield, Massachusetts April 5 and 6. I will be entering NY via I-84 to Taconic Parkway to US 44 to US 7 in Salisbury, CT. Any construction or other problems along this route? Is there a better route?

You shouldn't hit anything major. I was on TSP yesterday with no issues. There was a sign about construction by either 44 or 55 but I didn't see any activity. As far as US 7 I'm not sure.

No , it's fine that way. I know the route well. Parents live in Salisbury. I always take route 41 in Salisbury to Sheffield / great barring ton area. though. Nicer ride.

Nice scenery everywhere - Delaware River Valley, Taconic State Parkway and the farms and small towns on US 44. I am staying in Great Barrington and my wife is attending a seminar that is on route 41 ON the MA/CT border.

The locals must love the Tacomas - I don't think I have waited more than 5 minutes between Taco sightings.

Not sure how many of you are still around here, or even watch the thread, so putting it out here since I just stumbled on this...

Come on over here and say what's up! Us CT folks are planning something, and there are a couple NY folks there as well:
