I know this has been beat to death but I seem to be getting different answers everywhere and i'm now really confused. I have a 2010 crewcab Tacoma 4wd. I have installed the 5100s in the front, set to the 3rd highest point, and I recently had the leaf spring recall taken care of. Now the front sits slightly higher than the rear. My question is, if I add a 1 inch block to the rear, do I have to change the shock as well? Do I need to change anything else on the rear? I also plan on installing a def drop kit for the front. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    No.

But if you can swing 5100s for the rear, it'd be to your benefit.

What would I gain from the 5100s in the rear? Also this is just a daily driver truck with light hauling from time to time.

Your stock shock aren't valved for a lifted truck, so adding a 1.5" block to them (or other method of lift) is not ideal.
