    Hello Uncles

I plan to change the timing belt and everything else included in the below kit on my 04 Tacoma.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/180729034728

I need the pages from the factory service manual (pictures) that shows the torque specs, and sequence of parts going in. I like to torque everything to spec. So if there is a download, or if anyone can print (clear copies) and mail them to me, I will happily pay for it.

Q with respect to replacing the "hydraulic tensioner" and the "tensioner roller", do I have to remove the AC unit, or is there a better way of replacing it?

    Thanks for the assistance.

    Alex

I've never had to remove the AC compressor to do a timing belt. This would include the tensioner and roller.

Ok thanks. But I plan to replace the tensioner and roller (comes in the kit, might as well). Do I have to remove the AC to do this? and does the tensioner and roller come out in one piece, or seperate?

Just trying to get an idea.

    Thanks
    Alex

You will need to take off the ac compressor and the ac bracket to get to the back bolt of the tensioner. The roller can be accessed easily.

    Roller and tensioner separate pieces.

Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
I was able to replace the tensioner without removing the AC. I just needed a long extension and a u-joint on my ratchet.
