I already had the gun and rivets, but those can be had for minimal expense. Struts, brackets and rivets cost me around $40.

The brackets have 90* angles, so I had to widen the angle in a vice for two of them to get the proper fit on the hood. I used Redline's guide for 95-04 Tacomas, mostly just for bracket placement. Took about 30 minutes or so. Pretty easy project.

So I've been searching and saw a lot of threads about retrofitting an elocker axle into a tacoma and not using the factory computer or switch, but has anyone swapped their factory e-locker switch with an otrattw one?

I dont see why it wouldn't work. The switch just activates the relay doesn't it? As long as all the wiring from the relay to the accuator is complete it should work all the same.

That's what I was thinking too. The reason I'm even asking is I am soon getting a front locker, but maintaining the rear e-locker. Ideally I would move the clutch start cancel button to where the locker button is and have two OTRATTW switches next to each other for front and rear locker where the clutch start cancel button used to be.

I gave my Tacoma new license plates. I think this is the first 95 Tacoma 4x4 registered in Poland ever.

I can tell, that Polish plates are plain ugly. Legal size rear plate doesn't fit in provided space in the towing bumper - it is 4 inches to higher than USA plates so either I will be pulled over for "not visible numbers on the plate" or not able to pull down the gate. Still thinking about the solution to that.

There is a faint chance that some guys "in ruling party" will allow US size plates to be legal here, like they are in many European countries, but till than I have a problem :ballchain:

Your problem is that you should be driving a hilux and not a taco. :p

Yea I think you could definitely do that, the Elocker and clutch start slot in the dash are the same size Im pretty sure. Aside form wiring up the front locker, its just a matter of moving wires and switches around and cutting a hole for a second locker switch

Despite the "Top Gear show off" 95 Tacoma is way more reliable than any Hilux.

It's wheel bearing time so I bought this. I'm burnt out on dealing with greedy machine shops. No joke I brought a Honda hub into have a bearing pressed and it was $20 two weeks later I brought another hub in for the same car just a different side and they wanted $55 for the same labor burden.

Washed the dirt off my truck and found a bunch of fine little rust dots on a the body panels.

    So that's great.

I'm kicking around the idea of making a YouTube video. OTC has the Tacoma listed in the service manual that came with it.
